MAX9814 Electret Microphone Amplifier Module | Auto Gain Control AGC | Low Noise Audio Sensor
The MAX9814 Auto Gain Control Microphone Amplifier is designed to capture clean and consistent audio signals in environments where sound levels continuously change.
Unlike ordinary microphone modules, the MAX9814 automatically adjusts its amplification level using built-in AGC circuitry. This prevents distortion when the sound is loud and boosts sensitivity when the sound is weak, providing stable output without manual tuning.
The module outputs an analog audio signal that can be directly read by microcontrollers ADC pins, making integration simple for both beginners and advanced users.
Because of its low noise design and adjustable gain settings, it is widely used in voice detection systems, robotics, home automation, and audio reactive lighting.
