Description

Description:

MAX471 Current voltage Sensor This module can be used to test the current and voltage.
The principle of voltage test based on principle of resistive voltage divider design, can make the red terminal connector input voltage to 5 times smaller.
Analog input voltages up to 5V, the voltage detection module input voltage not greater than 5Vx5 = 25V (if using 3.3V systems, input voltage not greater than 3.3Vx5 = 16.5V). AVR chips have 10-bit AD, so this module simulates a resolution of 0.00489V (5V / 1023), so the minimum voltage of input voltage detection module is 0.00489 Vx5 = 0.02445V.
The MAX471 chip on the board used to test the consume current of the load GY-471.

The MAX471 is a solid alternative to an ACS712 for measuring DC Current. Its a high side device that is powered by a load source that can range anywhere. For applications requiring higher current or increased flexibility.

What is current sensor module?
ACS712 Current Sensor Module – 20A is based on ACS712 sensor, which can accurately detect AC or DC current. The maximum AC or DC that can be detected can reach 20A, and the present current signal can be read via analog I / O port of a microcontroller or an Arduino.
this is a fully integrated, hall effect-based linear current sensor with 2.1kVRMS voltage isolation and a integrated low-resistance current conductor. Technical terms aside, it’s simply put forth as a current sensor that uses its conductor to calculate and measure the amount of current applied.

Feature MAX471 Current voltage Sensor:

Test voltage range: DC 3 – 25V
Test current range: DC 0 – 3A
Size: 19.5 x 20.3mm
